Jane Seymore, Betty White, John Stamos, Cheryl Ladd, Kathy Lee Gifford, John O’Hurley, Michael Douglas and many more are “Celebrity Ambassadors” for one of the largest non-profit organizations in the world.  It was an honor to have Childhelp founders, Yvonne Fedderson and Sara O’Meara (pictured), personally extend the invitation to be the newest Youth Ambassador!!

Mission StatementChildhelp exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children. We focus our efforts on advocacy, prevention, intervention, treatment and community outreach.  (from www.childhelp.org)

As Youth Ambassador, I hope to align my talents with Childhelp and bring a greater awareness to those who can help – and bring more hope to those who need help.  My heart is saddened that kids my age and younger are abused, abandoned and mistreated.  I can’t imagine any reason, excuse or justification that would give permission to anyone to mistreat a child in any way!

I’m only 11 and I’m not very big, but if I can use my big-girl voice to speak (& sing) to people who will listen, I’m prayerful that those that are in a position to contribute, will step up and step in.  I hope that you’ll join me in speaking with a loud voice that abuse and neglect has no place in this world!

100% of proceeds from CD’s and downloads will directly benefit the kids at Childhelp.

Thank you Yvonne and Sara, and all the hearts at Childhelp for this assignment.  You’ve used your voice for 60 years. I hope to do you proud as the next generations voice.

For my 12th birthday this year, I’m challenging everyone to take #RoseveltsChallenge – Click HERE to find out what the challenge is.

It’s an honor to have the Legendary Dick Van Dyke be the one of the first to congratulate Rosevelt.

*Childhelp USA is now just Childhelp because they have now expanded into Canada and plans to go global are on the horizon!
